I can’t convey how exasperating I find this.
The new girl in my team sits next to me. When she complained that she couldn’t get into a shared directory to check some reports, I told her to phone the IT helpdesk and tell them she needed access to the T: drive.
Two minutes later I can hear her telling some poor bloke “I can’t find the O8 folder, can you help me?”
She is exactly the sort of person who makes me die a little inside every time they ring me.
You, on the other hand, appear to have ‘the knowledge’. Why can’t everyone be like that?
