Beards, it turns out, will condense moisture from the cold winter air and make your entire face wet and dewy. This is what I have learnt from cycling to work today.

I’m not sure you’ll have seen my dad when we were skiing last year, but he had full on icicles in his beard. Icicles I tell you!

I have learnt that we are in the height of summer at the moment, as my partner in the shower last night was a frickin WASP!

Dearest Arien, I like them too.
They are interesting creatures. Some people suit them and some people just don’t and between you and me I think James really suits his, but I’m refraining from telling him because he might spend even more time in front of the bathroom mirror grooming his distinguished whiskers.

One of the signs that it really suits him is the fact, that he seems to be getting in all sorts of incidents, where his looks are considered “dangerous” and/or “suspicious”.
It is well known, that women are attracted to the rogue dark [or in this case ginger-bearded] dangerous types.
So YAY, james, we want to see more of the beard.

Do all beards have ginger roots ? I know James looks like he’s got a dark brown one but so many beards have a reddish undertone even if you are blonde, brown, red or otherwise.
My husband has dark hair [with the occasional whites], and a dark beard [with the occasional whites], but there’s definitely a reddish undertone to the beard.
But my father never had a single red hair in his beard. I know, i checked a lot, when i was a child.;]
